AWESOME! New Car Covered In Rust Camouflage To Protect It From Thieves

Ian Smith
A new Volkswagen Transporter is a hot target for car thieves, and while there are plenty of ways to protect the vehicle from the car crooks, the owner of this van chose a unique and innovative way- by covering the new car in a rust-like vinyl to make it look like an old piece of junk!
“Clyde’s Wraps” in Glasgow did the artwork for the vinyl wrap. The process involved taking exact measurements of the entire vehicle. This allowed their artists to realistically model rust as if it had been formed by water running down from the vehicle’s handles, mirrors and frames.
“It only took 3 days for the police to pull him over to ask what was going on with all the rust,” Clyde’s Wraps wrote on their website. “Please note that there is nothing illegal about going to town with graphics on your vehicle but it may confuse others!”
