Have you ever imagined being a queen, king, prince, or princess of your own castle? Well, currently there are 10 castles available to purchase in Britain – as long as you have the money for the upkeep.

Just imagine the heating bill and the upkeep of the grounds. Sounds like a lot of work, but also an amazing chance.

Here is the list of the top 10 castles for sale in Britain currently:

This castle dates from the 16th century. It is surrounded by a vast walled garden with a topiary lawn. The living area has a carved stone fireplace, and apparently comes with a ghost that patrols the staircase.
