There are many people out there who claim they have had run-ins with aliens, and Goldie Hawn is one of them. Appearing on an episode of Apple Fitness+’s ‘Time to Walk,’ Hawn shared the extra-terrestrial experience that happened to her as a young lady and explained how it wasn’t her only encounter with something out-of-this-worldly. It seems alien activity is drawn to Hawn, as even her family has shared similar experiences.

The encounter happened before she became a famous actress

In the early 1960s, before Hawn became a famous actress, she worked as a dancer in California. During a rehearsal in West Covina, she decided to nap in a friend’s car, and it was here that she alleges she experienced an alien encounter. While she was resting, she was awoken by a “high-pitched sound” in her ear.

“I looked out the window, and I saw these two or three triangular-shaped heads,” she recalled. “They were silver in color, slash for a mouth, tiny little nose, no ears. They were pointing at me, pointing at me in the car as if they were discussing me like I was a subject. And they were droning.” The entire time, she felt like she was “paralyzed,” and it was only after the moment had passed that she snapped out of it.

“Of course, I go back to all the kids and stuff, and I went, ‘Oh, my God. I think I made contact with outer space,’…” she explained, speaking about the rest of the dancers at rehearsal. When the encounter first happened, she didn’t really know how to explain it, so she thought about it as though it were only a dream. However, after doing some reading, she realized that there were others out there who had experienced a similar phenomenon and that it must not have simply been a dream.

She remembered an important part of the encounter at a virtual lab

The experience had always stayed with Hawn, but her life was moving forward, and so the encounter became a curious memory. It wasn’t until years later, when she visited the University of Illinois Urbana-Chimpaign, that this memory was reignited in her. While there, an astrophysicist gave Hawn a tour of the Milky Way in their virtual lab.

She explained how during the tour, she “got emotional, tear here and there, and I said, ‘I don’t understand it, but I did have an experience once that had to do with maybe being visited by someone.'” The conversation then turned to aliens, and Hawn was then reminded of an important detail from her previous encounter.

“Suddenly, I remembered something. They touched my face. They touched my face, and it felt like the finger of God,” Hawn said. “It was the most benevolent, loving feeling. This was powerful. It was filled with light.”

Her strange dream became a reality

Hawn’s extra-terrestrial experiences didn’t stop there. Years after her meeting with the astrophysicist, she was in Avebury in London with a friend when another strange occurrence took place.

One night, she dreamt she was overlooking a dark valley when six strange lights appeared just above a mountain nearby. Not long after having this dream, Hawn and her friend drove to a place that looked eerily similar. “We got to the spot, and, by God, I was standing on this hill, looking down over a valley that was dark. That was exactly the spot in my dream, and a crop circle of just a heart,” Hawn explained. “I’m now freaking out.”

Not only was seeing the crop circle strange for Hawn, but the fact that it was a heart was even more strange! “I have collected hearts my whole life,” she said. “I built a house of hearts. I have done everything with hearts. I looked at this and I thought, ‘I don’t know anything. But if this is a sign, I’ll take it.'”

Even with all these different signs happening to Hawn, she still doesn’t know what it all means, and for her, she’s okay with that. “I’ll never know. And I kind of like it that way. I don’t want to know everything,” she said. “We cut ourselves off from a lot of things if we’re continuing to deny something that we have no proof over. There’s a lot of things in this world that we can’t see, but we can’t stop believing.”

Hawn isn’t the only one in the family with an encounter story

Kurt Russell, Hawn’s partner for the past 40 years, has also experienced an alleged close encounter with aliens. It was back in 1997, while he was flying his own private plane in Arizona, that he saw six mysterious lights in the sky.

He explained how, years later, Hawn was watching a television show about UFOs that discussed these same lights as a mass UFO sighting phenomenon that came to be known as the Phoenix Lights. It was thanks to this show that he realized he was one of the thousands who reported the sighting to the authorities.

“On the show, they talk about 20,000 people reporting it and only one general aviation pilot, and I said, ‘That’s me!'” he said.
